Upload guidelines

Every upload is reviewed by our moderation team before it goes live. These guidelines explain what we check, so your content can be approved quickly. They complement our Terms of Service, which always apply.

You must have the right to upload it

• You made the content yourself, or you have permission to publish it.
• Everyone who appears in it is at least 18 years old and agreed to be filmed or photographed and to have it published.
• You confirm both when you submit an upload. We may ask for proof.

Not allowed

• Anything illegal, or anything showing a person who is under 18 or did not consent.
• Content you do not have the rights to.
• Duplicates of content that is already on the site, including your own earlier uploads.
• Spam: many near-identical uploads, or advertising, links or contact details in titles, descriptions or tags.
• Very low quality content (see below).

Quality

Viewers should be able to watch and enjoy what you upload. We look at resolution, sharpness, lighting, sound and whether the file plays correctly. Very blurry, very dark, heavily compressed or damaged files are usually not approved.

Duration

Videos must be at least 15 seconds long, and long enough to stand on their own. Previews and trailers cut from longer content may not be approved.

Galleries

A gallery needs at least 3 photos. Choose photos that belong together and pick a cover that represents the set.

Title, description and tags

• Title (required, up to 120 characters): say plainly what the upload shows. No all-caps, strings of emoji, keyword lists or links.
• Description (required, up to 1000 characters): describe what viewers will see, in your own words.
• Tags (up to 120 characters, comma separated): only tags that match the content.
• Everything you enter must match what is actually in the upload. Misleading details are the most common reason we ask for changes.

Categories

Choose between 1 and 6 categories that genuinely match the content. Picking popular but unrelated categories to reach more viewers is treated as misleading.

What happens after review

• Approved: videos are prepared for playback, then published. You can follow each step in Creator Hub.
• Changes requested: we email you a note explaining what to fix. Update the details and send it for review again.
• Not approved: the upload is removed and we email you the reason.

Repeatedly uploading content that breaks these guidelines may lead to restrictions on your account, as described in our Terms of Service.
